Tia
This stunning lady is 5 yr old Tia, who is looking for a home as her owner is struggling to fulfil Tia's needs.
Tia is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, and upto date with all flea and worming treatments. Tia is housetrained, and is fine to be left for a few hours, she doesn't chew or mess.
Tia is crate trained, and sleeps in her crate, it is also used when visitors come to the house, as Tia is nervous of strangers.
When our assessor visited she was in her crate, but was fine after being let out, and soon relaxed enough to be fussed and stroked.
Tia is great with children of all ages, and currently lives with little ones. She is not good with cats.
Tia would need socialising with other dogs, as her owner says she isn't good with them, but this could be lack of positive experiences with other dogs, and a simple socialising issue.
Tia travels well in the car, and has no food or toy possession issues.
Tia is strong on the lead, and has recently been walked on a gencon which has made walking easier, but her owner doesn't give Tia enough regular exercise. Tia has never been off lead, so not known how her recall is.
This beautiful lady just needs a few rough edges polishing up and she will be a super girl. Currently in Leyland, Lancashire.

Freya

Adoption form
This pretty face belongs to Freya who we think is aged between 2-3 yrs old.
Freya came into rescue as she was chasing sheep on her owners farm.
Freya has recently had a large litter of puppies, which has totally drained her body, so is very thin at the moment. Since being in foster care and on small regular meals she is slowly gaining weight.
Freya is a lovely friendly girl, greets strangers by jumping up- this is becoming less with training in foster care. Freya is fine with older children.
She is great with other dogs, but does play quite rough, so a young male companion may be better for her.
Unknown how she is with cats. Freya is housetrained, and travels well in the car. She is fine to be left for a few hours.
We have started Freya's vaccinations, and she has been flea treated and wormed.
She would benefit from some training classes. Her recall is good, and she eventually settles to walk nicely on the lead.
Freya does bark at other dogs on walks, but soon calms down, and it is only excitement, not aggression at all.
This lovely girl will make a wonderful girl when she is back to full health, and with some basic training. Currently in foster care in North Wales.

Diesel

Meet Diesel, a stunning 6yr old long haired male, who needs a home due to his owner passing away. The family knew little about Diesel, so we don't have much background information on him.
Diesel is slightly nervous of new people, and a bit jumpy towards sudden movements. Once he trusts you, which doesn't take long if you have treats, he will happily be fussed and stroked.
Diesel will sell his soul for treats, so a very trainable dog! He greets other dogs with lovely manners, so may be able to live with another calm dog. Cats unknown.
We will not rehome Diesel with children.
He takes food and treats very gently and is clean in his kennel. He is nervous of car travel, but with some persuasion involving food! he happily put front paws in the car, and waited for a lift up. This can be worked on over time.
Diesel gets very excited at the prospect of walks, and jumps up excitedly. He loves to run!
With a firm but gentle approach our assessor had Diesel calm & responsive. With an experienced owner Diesel will make a wonderful companion. New owner does need to be aware that Diesel will get bolshy if he feels threatened or very scared.
Currently in kennels in Worksop, Notts.

Molly
uk-german-shepherd-rescue-uk-gsr003011.gif

This beautiful lady has had her world turned upside down by a marriage break up, and this is showing in her behaviour.
Molly is a lovely 6 yr old semi coated girl, who we think has been spayed and is fully vaccinated and microchipped. She is upto date with flea and worming treatments also.
Molly is housetrained, travels ok in the car- although hasnt been in one much recently.
Molly is fine with other dogs, she currently lives with a papillon and they get along well together. She dislikes cats, so a feline free home please!
Molly has no food or toy aggression issues, and responds to most commands.
Molly walks really well on the lead, however her recall hasnt been tested in the 2 years she has been in her current home.
Molly's dad has left the family home, and Molly has become over protective of her mum, and will bark aggressively at any visitors. She barked quite alot at our assessor, but she was easily won round with calm, assertiveness and some treats!!
Molly was walked by our assessor, and she returned from the walk a completely calm, and lovely dog. She is not getting walked at all at the moment, and this is having a knock on effect, and she will chew through boredom.
Molly ideally needs an active home, she adores children so that may help, and where she will get exercised regularly. This will sort her 'barking issue' and result in the sweet, gentle lady Molly really is underneath.
Molly is currently in Nottinghamshire waiting for the right home.
